In 1980, Cody Teets joined McDonald’s as a crew member in Colorado. AS Vice President, Franchise Relations, Cody is responsible for ensuring system success by working closely and collaboratively with Owner/Operator Leadership bodies: NLC, NSLC, Opnad and the diversity networks (AMOA, MHOA, NBMOA, WON and MOOPN). Prior to this, Cody served as Vice President and General Manager for the Rocky Mountain Region, accountable for nearly 800 Franchisee and Corporate restaurants in nine states, representing over two billion dollars in annual sales.

She earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing from the University of Colorado, and an MBA in Finance from Regis University while working at McDonald’s. In addition to serving as Chair of McDonald’s Global Women’s Leadership Network (GWLN), Cody is active in her community serving not only on the Board at Regis, but also as Board Treasurer for Dress for Success. She is proud of the opportunity she has had to make a difference for customers, employees, franchisees and the community while at McDonald’s. In April 2012, her experiences inspired her to publish her first book – “Golden Opportunity – Remarkable Careers that began at McDonald’s”.

Cody skillfully balances her professional and personal goals on a daily basis. Her highest priority is spending quality time with her husband, Dan and their two children, Colton and Jackson.
