Elephant Nature Park
Chiang Mai, Thailand
Elephant Nature Park is an elephant rescue and rehabilitation center in Northern Thailand where you can volunteer and visit to help. We have been involved in dozens of rescues which have created our thriving elephant herd. The park provides a natural environment for elephants, dogs, cats, buffaloes and many other animals under our care.
"Our duty of care is to all those under the protection of our umbrella. This includes our staff and guests. We host Elephants, cats, dogs, buffaloes and many other rescued species. We owe them all a duty of care and will do our best to provide the best environment possible. We deeply value the contribution made by all which helps us achieve our goals of providing a sanctuary for those who cannot speak for themselves."
This DONATE button below will take you to a page that will tell you how to donate to the Elephants at the Nature Park. You can click links on this page to see stories about the Elephants that reside there. All their stories are on this website, and so much more information you will want to know. The donations come mostly from spending time with them, as there is a charge. It is a great funding source. This organization has my stamp of approval. They are making a difference in the lives of the Elephants.
Elephant Jungle Sanctuary
Chiang Mai, Thailand
Elephant Jungle Sanctuary is an ethical and sustainable eco-tourism project located approximately 60km from the city of Chiang Mai, Northern Thailand. Founded in July 2014, it is a joint initiative between members of the Karen hill-tribes and Chiang Mai locals who were concerned about the welfare of elephants in Thailand.
OUR MISSION is to provide as many elephants as possible with the good health, freedom, and happiness they truly deserve. We use our progressive and ethically responsible approach to elephant eco-tourism as a platform to raise awareness and educate people from Thailand and around the world about elephant care and the plight of the Asian elephant.
OUR HOPE is to lead by example, and contribute to a positive change in the perception of elephants; to witness a future where elephants are not ridden, poached, overworked, or abused, and are instead treated with care, love, and respect.
The Elephant Jungle Sanctuary project also provides many Karen people with employment, education, and financial support.
This DONATE button below will tell you ways you can help and you can contact them about monetary donations.
The David Sheldrick Wildlife Trust
At the core of our work is the Orphans’ Project, from the rescue of milk dependent orphaned infant elephants through to their ultimate rehabilitation back into the wild. For the babies, their journey begins at our Nursery in Nairobi, where they receive dedicated hands on care and all the love and support they need to overcome the physical and psychological trauma of being orphaned and can start to enjoy the life they deserve.
You can help them on their journey by fostering one of the orphans.
